Scam Alert: Fraudulent Communications
Please be aware that many members and non- members of Community
Driven Credit Union (UAW Local 174) are receiving fraudulent text
messages and emails.
Insuring members privacy and protection is the priority of Community
Driven Credit Union. They would NEVER ask you to reveal your personal or
account information.
To prevent fraudulent text messages, the Michigan Attorney Generals
Office suggests the following:
- Add your phone to the National Do Not Call Registry by visiting
www.donotcall.gov or by calling 1- 888-382-1222 (this does not
guarantee that you will not receive spam).
If you have provided your account information, and have suffered a
fraudulent loss, they suggest:
- File a complaint with the Attorney Generals Office at
www.fcc.gov/cgb/complaints or by calling (888) 225- 5322.
- File a Police report with their local law enforcement office.
If you are unsure of the origin of any communication or if you have
supplied anyone with your account information, please call Community
Driven Credit Union at (734) 434-4130 and ask to speak to member
services.
