Visteon Ratification Vote

The company prematurely applied 16 hours to the Visteon employees pay checks this week. These 16 hours are a portion of what has been negotiated for the Visteon employees by our International Union.

Upon Ratification members will receive the additional benefits:
 

  • 16hrs paid personal time. (can be rolled into next year)
  • 40hrs paid personal time available January 2010.
  • 40hrs paid personal time available January 2011.
  • Prescription plan rolled out in January 2010.

* Paid personal time will replace the current unpaid time off.

 

These additional benefits are contingent on the Visteon employee's approval to come in line with the 2009 UAW Ford Modifications. Easter Monday eliminated as a paid holiday. Overtime premium will be paid after 40 hours, Break times going from 22 minutes to 20 minutes and paychecks will be direct deposit.

On Friday, December 11, 2009 Informational meetings and voting will be held three times throughout the day at: 8:00am 1:00pm and 4:00pm (Following the reading of the highlights, there will be question and answer sessions). The Informational meetings and voting will be held at the Local Union Hall.

Visteon Active members may vote any time between 6:00am to 6:00pm on Friday, December 11, 2009.

We will notify you when copies of the agreement are available.

The tentative agreement is subject to ratification by UAW Local 892 Visteon active members.
