Women's Committee Annual Halloween Party!
By: Debi Muncy

Clowns, witches, wizards, and animals of all kinds invaded our union hall again on October 28th. Call the exterminator? No, it was just the Women's Committee Annual Halloween Party!
About 65 children and 71 adults turned out for pizza, soft drinks, and a lot of fun this year.
New games were played and judging from the response of parents and children alike "DO NOT CHOMP" was a big hit. We also had a costume contest with winners in various age groups. Winning the 1 to 5 year contest was Brandi Torres age 3 and Morgan Coll 19 months of age. In the 6 to 9 year group the winners were 8 year old Trinity Tury-Malone and Quentin Dominique 6 years old. Brie Hargrove was the sole winner in the 10 to 12 year group.
I would like to thank Theresa Martinez, Sue Bedder, Jody Uroda, Wanda Wesley, Baiba Bryan, Cathy Pelham, Carlotta Goldston, and Joann Graham for selling admission and raffle tickets. The raffle money actually is how we finance these events, and the winners of the drawing this years raffle were Cliff Worsham and Dusty Kelley.
A special thank you to the sisters who helped at the party who included Theresa Martinez and Cathy Pelham. We also had Russ Creech's help in getting the piņata in the air and the help of many parents with the games and judging of costumes. Everyone's help was especially nice and very much appreciated. Thank you.
All had a good time and we hope to see even more turn out for our next party.

In Solidarity,
Debi Muncy

As a special note the from the entire Women's Committee, we would like congratulate Sue Bedder as she begins her apprenticeship. YOU GO SISTER!
