Retiree Report

As a New Year begins and all are enjoying the mild winter ha!ha! It's been a long time since almost everyone had a white Christmas. Even folks in the south are enjoying frozen orange juice right off the tree. On the day of our Christmas banquet ole man winter served up a wrath of bad weather. We closed early so all could get home safely. Therefore, we will have our big bingo game when we convene in March. I would like to give a big thank you to all the local union officers for their donation of gifts and money for our meal. This made for a very successful holiday banquet. When we convene on March 12th , new ideas, trips, projects will be brought forth. Also this is the year to elect new officers for the retiree chapter. I hope all is well with you as we face quite a winter. In the north country, we have 30 inches of snow and everyday we're getting another inch or so. It is so nice to watch the birds and wild life and the trickling down of snow, what a beautiful picture of nature, it is truly paradise. Take care my friends 'til next month.
